Actress Lata Saberwal who has played prominent roles in TV industry and Bollywood is in the news currently. Actually, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress has been recently diagnosed with laryngitis, a serious throat disease and may lose her voice forever. 



Lata Saberwal has been in the TV industry for many years now. In her very popular TV serial, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ which aired on television first in 2009, she played the character of Hina Khan's mother, Rajshree. She gained a lot pf fame from the series but announced that she will be staying away from it. Eventually, she posted on her social media that she will not be returning to the serial because of health issues.

Talking about her laryngitis diagnosis on social media, the actress posted, ‘Recently visited an ENT specialist for a sore throat. I have a lump in my throat. It will take about 1 week for the condition to stabilize.’ She further wrote, ‘I am trying to improve my health. I am taking medicine continuously. If I don’t take proper care, my voice is likely to go too. However, my dear fans pray for me…’




After the actress posted about her health, many fans expressed their concerns and asked her to take care of herself.

Also, she worked in movie "Kishen Kanhaiya". Later, she appeared in several other Bollywood films in supporting roles, but her major breakthrough came with the popular TV show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai". She played the role of Rajshri Maheshwari in the show and gained immense popularity among the audience.

Apart from acting, Lata Sabharwal has also worked as a model and has appeared in various print and television advertisements. She has been a part of many TV shows, including "Kasamh Se", "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai", "Laagi Tujhse Lagan", and "Pavitra Rishta", among others. She has also acted in a few regional films in languages such as Marathi and Punjabi.


Lata Sabharwal is married to her "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" co-star Sanjeev Seth. The couple has two children together.
